Braunwald - a place of seclution and tranquility

Getting to Braunwald at the end of the valley of Glarus feels like diving into another world, leaving the stressful and busy life in the city and enter into a peaceful, secluded world in the middle of the mountains, surrounded only by nature.

Braunwald is not mend to be a destination for huge groups of tourists from all over the world. Instead it should profit and take advantage from the tranquility that one can experience in this special village up in the mountains of Glarus.

Therefore I would like to offer a space to escape the hectic everyday life, a place for contemplation and mindfulness, where you can experience yourself and your surroundings.  The concept is likely the one of a non-denominational monastery.
It should be a place for short-term tourists that want to stay no longer than a week as well as for long-term residents.

The location can be reached within a two hour hike from Linthal and is positioned between the center of Braunwald and the Ortstockhaus. Being on top of the edge of the slope it is out of the endangered part of earth slides and still close enough to have a connection to the existing parts of Braunwald.
