Braunwald - Summer/Winter Camp for Children
FS 21
Al Jawharah Al Zamil

Braunwald is known to be a family-friendly location where families spend their summer and winter holidays on
panormic terraces. Various activities including skiing and climbing take place in Braunwald, making it a prime candidtae for activity related Architecture.

The proposed idea is a Summer/Winter camp for children in Braunwald. From a commercial standpoint, Braunwald attracts families, and for that reason, having a Summer/Winter Camp for children could provide life-changing experienecs and knowledge around the activities that could take place in such a village, such as skiing. Not only is this a touristc opportunity but a local opportunity as well, where children of the village get to experience a new perspective of their own hometown, where they connect together and with foreigners.

The sound of the trees and the birds chirping next to their windows, in the midst of a forest-like atmosphere. The children are moving from one poin to another, a small-scaled urban arrangment where every Architecture contributes to a certain funtion. A common area where the children gather, and enjoy their meals together. A trail that lead to their accomodation, where they learn to become independent away from their families. This proposal aims to impact architecurally and on a deep level, where children could grasp life-long lessons and experiences on the terraces of Braunwald.
