The chain houses are grouped along two access roads on a south facing slope in the site. The buildings are planned in the tradition of Danish farmhouses, but also have echoes of Asian courtyard typologies. The buildings have a sloping residential wing and a raised courtyard between the two interior facades of the house. The living area opens to the garden, while the facades with hoods appear buttoned up from the outside. To the south, the individual farmhouses open up with a low wall, and there are views south across the open countryside from all the houses. The relationship from the living space to the inner courtyard and from the courtyard to the natural outdoor space reacts diversely and respond to each space adapted and differentiated. The predominant use of yellow brick gives the buildings a cohesive character, while the geometrically sharp, stepped brick gables give the buildings a precision in the undulating landscape.
